Tucson Metro & Pima County

Pima County Courts We Appear In:

• Pima County Justice Court: Handles misdemeanor criminal, DUI, and traffic cases from unincorporated Pima County and certain surrounding communities; also handles initial appearances on many felony charges. (This is the consolidated Pima County Justice Court located downtown at 240 N. Stone Ave. It covers multiple justice precincts countywide.) 
• Tucson City Court: Handles misdemeanor criminal, DUI, and traffic cases arising within Tucson city limits.
• Pima County Superior Court: Handles felony cases, probation violations, post-conviction matters, and higher-level criminal proceedings for all of Pima County. Felony trials and sentencings are generally heard here. 
• Green Valley Justice Court: Serves Green Valley, Sahuarita, Vail, Corona de Tucson, Arivaca, Amado, and Sasabe. Handles misdemeanor, DUI, and traffic cases from those communities and initial appearances on many felony matters. 
• Sahuarita Municipal Court: Handles misdemeanor criminal, DUI, traffic, and town code violations that occur within the Town of Sahuarita, and also issues orders of protection and injunctions against harassment.
• Marana Municipal Court: Handles misdemeanor criminal charges, DUI, and civil/criminal traffic violations that occur within the Town of Marana. The court also issues protective orders and injunctions against harassment. 
• Oro Valley Magistrate Court: Handles misdemeanor criminal, DUI, and traffic cases that happen within the Town of Oro Valley, and enforces town code and local ordinance violations. 
• U.S. District Court (District of Arizona): Handles federal criminal cases (felonies and misdemeanors) arising in Southern Arizona, including cases investigated by agencies such as FBI, DEA, ATF, HSI, and Border Patrol. This court controls detention, discovery, plea negotiations, trials, and federal sentencing for Tucson-area federal charges.

Cochise County(Bisbee · Sierra Vista · Willcox · Huachuca City · Tombstone · Douglas)

Santa Cruz County (Nogales · Rio Rico · Sonoita)
